Autumn Decor Picks from Etsy |
I think Autumn is my favourite decorating season. Wool blankets, candles, mugs for warm drinks, stacks of vintage books, swapping out throw pillow covers for something seasonal, and bringing the last bits of the garden indoors to enjoy. It's all about cozy, warm colours and textures and I'm here for it.
One of my favourite places to shop for unique items for my home (besides the antique market) is Etsy. I love all the beautiful handmade pieces I can find there and there's a great selection of vintage too!
While I'm not really a big fan of decorating based on trends, I do love the brown trend happening right now and I'm contemplating painting my living room a deep warm burgundy brown shade. I also love Benjamin Moore's new Colour of the Year, Cinnamon Slate. Have you seen it yet?
In the spirit of autumn, I've pulled together some of my favourite things from Etsy right now in this moodboard. I haven't done one of these in awhile but watch this space for more to come. You can also find my Autumn Decor Favourites on Etsy autumn decor favourites - and be sure to check out Etsy's Fall Decor Essentials too.
I love these recycled British wool throw blankets from Weald Store on Etsy. The colour and patterns are just fabulous. Find them Weald Store.
Mix a plaid wool blanket with this burgundy striped frilly pillow from Hello Mello store on Etsy.
Every home needs candles, especially in the fall. As the sun starts to set earlier, we like to light candles at dinner. It's the ultimate way to create a cozy atmosphere. This Nordic style ceramic candle holder from Pour Moi Home is perfect.
Candles aren't just for the table. I love the idea of adding sconces to the wall but do keep an eye on them and never leave lit candles unattended. This double sconce from Weald Store is lovely, especially with the bow - I love their products!
I like this brown speckled mug from Nordic Pottery. Perfect for my favourite mint tea.
More candles, adorable mushrooms! From Shop of Happy Gifts.
Pretty pomegranate art print from the talented and lovely Melissa Mary Jenkins. Follow her Melissa Mary Jenkins too, it's full of inspiration.
I love a stack of vintage books, don't you? This vintage book bundle is from Middle Road Co.
I've been looking for some new "old" light fixtures and this Art Deco light fixture from Olde Brick Lighting is lovely.
I like this hand block print linen fabric from Fabritual. It would make a great cafe curtain. Just add a brass rod and clips.
Do you have a favourite from this collection? Let me know if you have any favourite Etsy shops that you think I should check out and I'd love to know how or if you change your decor for autumn.
